Accessibility
Last updated: June 2026
Vicinto is built to be usable by everyone. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing commitment rather than a one-time checkbox.
What we’ve built in
Visible keyboard focus indicators; support for reduce motion so animations are minimized when your device requests it; descriptive labels on icon-only and image controls for screen readers; a light, high-contrast color scheme; and scalable, legible text. The map experience is paired with text lists (events, people, attendees) so information isn’t locked behind a visual-only interface.
Known limitations
Interactive maps are inherently visual; we’re continually improving the non-visual experience and welcome feedback. A full WCAG 2.1 AA audit is part of our pre-scale checklist.
